Belarus raises minimum subsistence budget on 1 November

Belarus raised the minimum subsistence budget on 1 November 2025, BelTA learned from the press service of the Labor and Social Security Ministry of Belarus.

The new minimum subsistence budget on average per capita is set at Br491.09, which is 0.7% higher than the minimum subsistence budget that was in effect from 1 August 2025. 

The minimum subsistence budget in Belarus has been set at Br524.97 for working-age population, Br357.28 for pensioners, Br305.86 for children under 3 years, Br414.39 for children aged 3 to 6, and Br479.59 for children aged 6 to 18.

The new minimum subsistence budget will be valid until 31 January 2026.

This is the fourth increase in the minimum subsistence budget in 2025. Since the beginning of the year, it has risen by 12.2%.
