Belarus takes in over 34,400 Ukrainian citizens since 1 January 2023

 

 
 More than 109,000 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February 2022, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

“Since the start of the year Belarus has admitted 34,451 citizens of Ukraine: 25,071 came to Belarus via Poland, 7,490 via Lithuania and 1,890 via Latvia,” the State Border Committee informed.

A total of 109,155 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February 2022. According to the committee, 15,890 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 71,576 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 17,640 via Lithuania and 4,049 via Latvia.
