In the Vitebsk region, 88.4% of the area was threshed

 

In the Vitebsk region, on the morning of August 19, grain and leguminous crops were threshed on 88.4% of the area.

According to the regional agricultural products, 257.3 thousand hectares were harvested, 592.8 thousand tons were threshed with a yield of 23 c / ha, the best indicator is in Orsha (37.3 c / ha) and Vitebsk - 33.2 c / ha districts.

The threshing of spring rapeseed has started, which gives an average of 17.6 centners per circle.

85.3 thousand hectares (29%) of soil were plowed for sowing winter crops for the harvest of 2025. Rapeseed is sown on 43 thousand hectares (71.7%).

Flax harvesting is being completed, 6.5 thousand tons of flax straw with an average number of 0.97 have been harvested.

Corn harvesting has begun, the yield of green mass is 234 c / ha. In general, since the beginning of fodder harvesting, 1 4.41 centners of c. units per conventional head of cattle have accounted for 14.41 centners per head of cattle. (on the same date in 2023, it was 9.51 centners of k. units).
