In the Vitebsk region, the traffic police is conducting a preventive event under the motto “Car seats for children!”

 

From February 8 to 9, the State Traffic Inspectorate is holding a preventive event under the motto “Car seats for children!”, aimed at preventing road accidents involving child passengers.

Traffic police officers will strengthen control over the transportation of minors, visit educational institutions, work collectives, where they will talk about the rules of behavior on the roads, the causes and consequences of road accidents.

The traffic police also reminds: when transporting small passengers, it is necessary to use child restraints. Children aged 12 years or over or 150 centimeters tall can be transported without restraints, but must wear a seat belt.
