Minsk film festival Listapad to screen over 150 films

A total of 157 films from 41 countries will participate in the competition program of the 31st Minsk International Film Festival Listapad, BelTA learned from the festival organizers.

“A total of 3,655 applications from 120 countries were submitted for the 31st Minsk International Film Festival Listapad. The highest number of applications came from Iran (over 600), India (over 200), Russia (over 200), Spain (over 180), and Brazil (over 178),” the organizers said.

This year, the festival will take place from 31 October to 7 November under the slogan Life-Changing Story. The opening ceremony will be held at the Palace of the Republic and will be open to all, and the closing ceremony will take place at the Moskva cinema.
