Over 9 months, payers in the Vitebsk region voluntarily clarified their tax obligations by 36.6 million rubles

In accordance with the Tax Code of the Republic of Belarus, the main purpose of a desk audit is to provide payers with the right to independently eliminate the violation identified by the tax authority and pay additional taxes without applying penalties.

A desk audit is carried out directly at the tax office without issuing an order to conduct it. Thus, tax returns, documents and other information about the payer available to the tax authority are studied.

Based on the results of desk control for January-September 2023, payers in the Vitebsk region voluntarily clarified their tax obligations in the amount of 36.6 million rubles.
