Tax inspectorates of the Vitebsk region are improving their work on monitoring the correctness of tax calculations

The details are provided by the press service of the Tax Inspectorate of the Vitebsk Region.

Control activities have been reoriented to the use of preventive and precautionary measures. This was achieved by increasing the role of desk control, when the intervention of regulatory authorities in the economic activities of business entities is minimal.

When organizing desk control, software products are actively used for automated reconciliation of indicators reflected in tax returns with other databases available to the tax authorities.

Based on the results of desk control for January - March 2024, taxpayers in the region voluntarily clarified their tax obligations in the amount of 9.5 million rubles.
