The pre-election campaign period has started in Belarus

The pre-election campaign period started today in Belarus, reportsBELTA.

The campaign will run until February 24 inclusive. On the single voting day, which will take place in Belarus on February 25, campaigning is prohibited by law.

Campaigning can be carried out in the form of meetings, pickets, notification rallies, meetings with voters in premises determined by executive committees, production of printed campaign materials and others.

In addition, candidates for deputies have the right to create their own election funds and finance from these funds any campaign activity not prohibited by law.
