The Russian Ministry of Health has registered the Sputnik Light vaccine with an updated composition

 

It is noted that the updated vaccine underwent clinical trials, during which it showed a favorable safety and immunogenicity profile, and a low incidence of significant side effects. 

The press service added that state quality control of the first drugs in the laboratories of Roszdravnadzor is being completed. Registration will allow the vaccine manufacturer to introduce it into civilian circulation and begin deliveries according to regional orders.
