There are more than 1,000 small and medium-sized businesses in the Vitebsk region

 

There are 1,074 small and medium-sized businesses in the Vitebsk region.  Last year alone, business entities transferred 42 million rubles to the local budget, which is 1.5 times more than the year before. And this despite the fact that their number remained the same, the economics department of the district executive committee reported.

The contribution that small and medium-sized businesses make to the development of the region is significant. They account for 62% of all budget revenues. Successfully operating enterprises include Belfood Production LLC, which produces baby food, DemontazhTradeStroy LLC, which provides services for the dismantling of buildings and recycling of building materials, Private Unitary Enterprise MEDO, which sells food and non-food products to the population, etc.
