This season she did not drown in the stormy spring waters, as happened last season. According to Dmitry Gurin, head of the hydrology group of the Vitebskoblgidromet, since the end of February the water level in the Dvina in the city center has risen above four meters. This figure is below the long-term average. Whether the water in the Dvina will rise in the future depends on spring precipitation.
