The Dubrovensky District team took part in the regional tourist rally

 

The Dubrovensky District team took part in the regional tourist rally of working youth dedicated to the Year of Quality. This time, almost two dozen teams from all over Vitebsk region gathered in the Orsha District on the banks of the Dnieper.

For two days, a large clearing near the village of Krasnaya Kharkova turned into an arena for sports, tourism, creative, and intellectual competitions, where there was everything: the spirit of competition, porridge in a pot, and songs with a guitar.

— Orsha district has gathered cheerful, energetic, active boys and girls on this wonderful land, — said Irina Sofeichenko, deputy head of the department of the main department of ideological work and youth affairs of the regional executive committee. — It is noteworthy that in addition to the sports part, there will be an intellectual tournament dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the presidency. And it is no coincidence that we are holding this tournament on Orsha land, since this is the birthplace of the head of our state. The main goals of the tourist rally are patriotic education of youth, organization of free time and health promotion, involvement in regular physical education, sports and tourism, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, improvement of the system of physical education and health work, further development of tourism, and study of the history of the native land. This time we have prepared a very interesting long distance in the technique of pedestrian tourism with elements of sports orienteering (KTM), which has not been done before in the entire history of tourist rallies.

Evgeny Barnetov from the Dubrovensky District team noted that the atmosphere was especially pleasant - friendly and warm.

— We are grateful to the organizers for such events, — the employee of the Dubrovensky District Department of Emergency Situations did not hide his emotions. — After all, they gather those who are really passionate about tourism, who love to spend their leisure time outdoors, and who are not afraid of difficulties. An example of this is our Dubrovensky District team, which includes young people working in different organizations and enterprises who are passionate about the same thing. I was pleased with the organization of the sports forum: everything is clear, understandable, without failures. A great cause — and qualified, unbiased judges.

This time, sporting fortune was not on our team's side, but all the guys decided that by next year they would work on their mistakes in order to become worthy rivals to this year's winners - the Orsha Flax Mill team.
