Public sector companies should vigorously adopt positive practices used by private businesses, said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko visiting glass factories in the Gomel oblast on October 3. “Today’s situation allows free access of private companies to the industry,” said the head of state. “We will compare the performance of state-run companies and private ones and will make corresponding conclusions”. The President of Belarus praised the operation of Belarusian-Austrian joint venture Gomel Glass Container Plant. He said he wishes the glass makers to use a businesslike approach to the territories they occupy.
