Belarusian FM expresses condolences over late Syrian ambassador to Belarus

 

The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincere condolences to colleagues, family and friends of late Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to Belarus Mohammad Aloumrani, BelTA has learned from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

"The ambassador made a significant contribution to friendly Belarus-Syria relations and important bilateral projects," the ministry said.

According to Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov, Ambassador Aloumrani left behind many friends in Belarus. “He was a wise diplomat and a sincere advocate of further deepening of Belarus-Syria bilateral cooperation," the foreign minister noted.

“Belarus will always remember him as a professional and as a man. Our thoughts and words of support are with the ambassador's family,” the ministry added.
