Lukashenko sends professional day greetings to Belarusian Railways team

 

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated active and retired employees of Belarusian Railways on their professional holiday, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.

Belarusian Railways is a key element of the country's transportation system; it has long been known for its reliability, responsibility and punctuality, the president remarked.

Such a reputation has been earned by several generations of the company’s employees for more than 160 years. Therefore, the head of state gave a special shout-out to former employees who dedicated years of their lives to the company and nurtured a new generation of dedicated workers. “It is gratifying that the company is still up to the challenge and to the task. Its infrastructure and rolling stock are being updated, the quality of passenger service is improving, the competitiveness of transport services is increasing, and new logistics models for the delivery of domestic goods are being developed,” the head of state said.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished active workers and veterans of Belarusian Railways, their families and loved ones good health, happiness, well-being and new professional achievements for the benefit of Belarus.
